Tower of London - Floor Spring Replacment

In these pictures we`re replacing a pair of old style floor springs to the main entrance doors to the Jewel House at the Tower of London. These works were completed in a single visit due to the Jewel House being the star attraction at The Tower of London and only a single day being made available to complete the repair. The existing floor springs were approximately fifty years old and in urgent need of attention.The replacement floor springs were a pair of Dorma BTS 80`s including all related components.

To ensure no obvious signs of work were visible upon completion we retained the old brass cover plates and re-fitted once the works were complete. We can supply and install a wide range of replacement Dorma glass hardware item’s including all floor and overhead closers, sliding door gear and frameless glass hardware. The Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace are regular account holding customers.
